Hi there! I am a Fairhope newborn and family photographer using natural light on location and in my Fairhope, AL studio. I proudly serve the Baldwin and Mobile county areas of Alabama in Fairhope, Daphne, Spanish Fort, Mobile, and Orange Beach/Gulf Shores. I’m here to capture your family; whether it is a newborn session to welcome a new baby, a milestone session to capture their growing personality, or a family session to hang on your walls.
As a "retired" elementary school teacher, you will definitely catch me making all of the silly noises and faces at your session! With a bachelor's degree in special education and a master's in childhood development, your family is in good hands!

I believe each child is a blessing entrusted to us for a brief and beautiful season. Newborn sessions are approached with gentleness, intention, and a deep respect for these early days, with an emphasis on capturing the tiny details and quiet moments that pass all too quickly. My newborn photography style is soft, timeless, and baby-led, creating images that feel peaceful and honest rather than overly posed.

Alex Ishee Photography offers Fairhope photography sessions that are laid back and fun where we let the kids call the shots! Of course, it is important to get a photo where everyone is smiling and looking at the camera, but the true beauty in this season of life is in the “in between”. I want to capture the way your toddler scrunches their nose when they laugh, the surprised face with high expressive eyebrows they make when Daddy makes a silly noise, and how they suck their thumb while they snuggle Mama because it is where they feel safe. Memories that will bring you back to the sweetest (and dirtiest) years of your life while you were raising littles. Don’t worry, we still get the traditional photos, but I promise you will fall in love with so many more!
